Songcatcher Miniature Horse Ranch

On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, our lives were dramatically changed when fire destroyed our house and all its contents.  But, God has blessed us beyond measure and we praise him for it.  We have rebuilt our house and our lives have returned to a new normal. Unfortunately the fire also destroyed most of my contact information. If you have contacted me before and I have lost touch, please contact me at ftnash@valliant.net

Hi! Welcome to Songcatcher Ranch. We are located in southeastern Oklahoma, in McCurtain county, bordering both Texas and Arkansas. We are near the small town of Valliant, between Hugo and Idabel.

We started in the miniature horse business in 2003. We do not show at present ourselves, but raise show quality horses. We have searched far and wide and feel we have put together a very good quality small herd.

We have found that miniatures provide most of the benefits of horse ownership at far less cost and less physical demand than big horses. Disposition and conformation have been of primary concern in our search for breeding stock. To go along with that, we are concentrating on beautiful pinto patterns.

Our horses bloodlines include some of the finest in the industry. Some of the most famous names in our horses pedigrees have included: Bond Peppy Power, Orion Light Vant Huttenest, L&D Scout, Gold Melody Boy, Roan Ranger, Buckeroo, BTU, Sids Rebel, Rhotens Little Dandy, Bond Dynamo, and Bond Showboy, as well as Soats, Little Kings, Flying W Farms, and Komokos breeding.

God has blessed us beyond measure in so many areas of our lives.  I hesitate to list the things we have to be thankful for for fear of overlooking something.  Let me say simply that we thank him for our family, our country, our jobs that sustain us, but most of all that he died to give us a chance at eternal salvation.

If you see something you like on our website, we would be glad to have you email, call, or stop by for a visit.
